Growing up in a family with deep roots in farming, I was aware of the challenges faced by Indian farmers. After working in the UK automobile manufacturing industry for several years, I decided that I wanted to return to India and start a manufacturing company. With my background in mechanical engineering, I was particularly interested in the agriculture mechanization sector, which I believed had a lot of untapped potential.

To gain insights into the pain points of farmers, I started an agriculture machinery rental service company called “Agrihitha” in early 2018. Through this venture, I gained firsthand experience of the challenges faced by farmers and saw the inefficiencies and gaps in the agriculture mechanization sector in India. We have also realized that the imported technology available in the market was not suitable for Indian climatic and geographical conditions. I wanted to develop indigenous technology that would be affordable and customized for Indian farmers.

In 2021, I founded FarmRobo with the aim of providing cutting-edge agricultural technology to Indian farmers. This led me to focus on designing and manufacturing agricultural products that are suitable for Indian conditions, while also being affordable for farmers. We want to encourage the younger generation to engage in farming and make it a sustainable profession for the future.

At FarmRobo, we are constantly researching and developing innovative solutions that address the challenges faced by farmers. We are committed to providing high-quality products and services that meet the evolving needs of the agriculture industry in India. I am excited about this initiative and look forward to creating a meaningful difference in the lives of farmers in India.
